Enigma Gaming loses to Made in Thailand

The rising giants of India’s Valorant eSports scene, Enigma Gaming, took on Made in Thailand, a team with many laurels on their heads.
This was the first time Enigma Gaming had faced an international squad and yet they held their own in a way that was more than commendable.
Map 1: Port

Haven’s first card saw the early dominance of Enigma Gaming, where they won the first three rounds without hesitation, took a one-round break, and went on to do three more! Unfortunately, they then lost the remaining 5 rounds at half time, bringing the score to an even 6-6. Although Enigma managed to pull through 5 more rounds, Made in Thailand capitalized on their momentum and won the first map 13-11.

Map 2: Ascension

Moving on to Ascent’s classic card, Enigma Gaming had another hit as they won the first three rounds again and then lost three in a row themselves. Halftime went from fight to fight and ended 6-6. In the next round, however, EG really shone. After winning the second pistol and purchase, they only dealt three rounds total to their opponents in the second half and ended up winning the map 13-9 with Excali saving the day.
Card 3: Binding

The very map where EG lost to Global eSports in the SCS Grand Finals was the site of their renewed downfall in an otherwise even fight. The game started the other way around as Made in Thailand was the one who managed to take away 3 rounds where EG struggled to put the foot down. Both halves went 6-6 when we went into overtime and MiTH took the game and the streak with the most amazing shotgun plays from AloNeFillz.
Enigma Gaming will now continue their run in the lower brackets of the tournament and we’ll certainly be excited to see what else they’re capable of as their performance against MiTH was nothing short of impressive!
