When is the start date and time of the Fortnite The Big Bang event?

The start date and time for the Fortnite The Big Bang event are December 2, 2023, 2am ET/11am PT/7pm GMT. This information has been confirmed by Epic Games via the official Fortnite Twitter account Shortly after the details of the event were revealed by leakers who searched the latest update files.
What is Fortnite The Big Bang Event?
Epic Games has called Fortnite’s The Big Bang event unforgettable. Like previous Fortnite events, it will evolve the game and the map, but this time it will change everything players know about the game. In what way, we’re not sure. Finally, there will be a memorable reveal towards the end of Fortnite The Big Bang that will undoubtedly hint at Fortnite’s future.
According to leakers like HypeX, the event will also introduce two new game modes, a rhythm mode and a racing mode. HypeX also revealed that there will be a LEGO crossover during The Big Bang and Eminem will host a concert where players will bring new skins for Fortnite. Given the franchise’s history with video games and DLC, we would expect the LEGO crossover to have something to do with racing mode.
A teaser image for the new Fortnite The Big Bang event lobby shows galaxies connected by light and a LEGO llama in the foreground. This could suggest that after this event ends there will be multiple versions of Fortnite, one with LEGO graphics and one without, and several others to be unveiled later. These details will only be confirmed at the end of the event.
Leaker iFireMonkey has confirmed details about some of the new game modes. LEGO Mode will be an open-world game mode in Fortnite where players can select a class and accept jobs from NPCs. The worlds are procedurally generated and allow for maximum creativity.
In the Rocket Racing game mode, players are thrown into various fast vehicles where they spend their time racing against others in Fortnite. While it’s a far cry from the race tracks seen in previous iterations of the map, it’s one that players will likely welcome.
Finally, there will also be a Rock Band-style festival mode. This is said to be the rhythm game mode that other leakers have mentioned. Players can play alone or as a team and play various instruments while competing with others for the highest score.
All skins are available during the Fortnite The Big Bang event
At the time of writing, the only skins we know of that will be added to Fortnite during the Big Bang event are Eminem’s. A base skin has been making the rounds online alongside a Marshall Never More skin. The latter features a Magma Marshall style that players can unlock by participating in the Big Bang event.
However, there will be more Eminem collaboration skins to come as at least one more skin with another style has been shared online for players to grab. We don’t know exactly which of these Fortnite skins will be available for free to everyone and which will need to be purchased from the in-game store.
