Embers Adrift vows to “never” add PvP to the game and promises a free play weekend in June

The team spent considerable time discussing the additions to the Grimstone Canyons and Forgotten Depths zones in its Game status report: “With hordes of new creatures pouring out of the Forgotten Depths and the stone mantles dominating this part of the canyons, it’s no wonder the Grimstone Marauders have a timid grip on this area. Come and explore the higher levels of these canyons to see what new challenges await.”
If you were wondering when drive embers PvP, a recent dev video answered this question: “Never. It won’t be a PvP game.” The studio says it’s more important to balance the game around PvE and player collaboration.
