Element Quest is a side scrolling MMO from Glitch and MapleStory
As we well know, combining the elements of earth, water, fire and air will summon Captain Planet or a new 2D MMORPG into the scene. Although these days our favorite anti-pollution superhero is no longer around, Element Quest appeared on our radar last month.
Released back in November 2021, Element Quest is a coiled MMO inside the circuit of Malfunction and MapleStory. Players choose a class from one of four classic elements and go on “realistic” expeditions with several others for experience and loot. This title is available for PC, Mac and Linux OS and has added a number of post-launch enhancements including open world exploration, slot machines, day/night cycle changing quests, swamplands, Player banks, etc. expeditions.
The indie studio says that they are self-publishing and have not secured the funds to properly market the game. A mobile portal is being considered to help build a much-needed critical player base.
