Elden ring has three non-opening Colosseum doors since launch. The mysterious areas have fans scratching their heads and wondering if they are possible clues to future DLCs.
Since the Colosseum doors appear in three different regions, Players have speculated that the special positions are challenging areas. Several modders have been chop the game to explore these restricted parts of the map and they’ve uncovered tons of multiplayer content. These coliseums are so detailed that players speculate about the future Elden ring PvP gameplay.
YouTuber Garden of Eyes wasn’t The first to upload a video of these hidden areas, but her post goes into great detail on the Coliseums in Leyndell, Northern Limgrave and Caelid. All of these locations are fully developed and even have colliders that determine whether or not your character will cut through certain objects. In the video you can see how the modder’s tarnished breaks several glasses by walking into them. At the end of all the hallways you can see a fully built Colosseum with hundreds of seats. If the Lands Between wasn’t a barren wasteland, it would be a perfect place to show off your boss-killing skills.
There’s still fun in the area even if you can’t hack past the doors. The North Limgrave Coliseum is arguably the first location that gave players a clue as to the importance of the doors. Outside you will find an NPC lamenting the portal not opening. Modder Garden of Eyes was able to find a Duelist’s Furled Finger outside the door, which enables PvP content. They were also ambushed by the Recusant Henricus while searching, so be careful if you think about poking through the door. You can fight up to three Duelist Knights of the Great Jar near the Caelid Coliseum even if you’re not hacking.
The coliseums, which interestingly also appear as areas on the map, are too complete to cut content, leading to the wild speculation from the community as to what might happen Elden ring DLC. Others are wondering about the possibility of fighting special bosses in a future update. Whatever it is or something else entirely, it’s clear that players are hungry for more Elden ring Contents.
