Eduardo Rodriguez talks Tigers return, has support from AJ Hinch

Detroit Tigers pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez has been officially reinstated from the banned list and has been shown plenty of support.
Detroit Tigers Pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez has been on the restricted list since June 13 because of “personal matters”. While it’s not exactly clear why Rodriguez was banned, the news of his return was exciting for many and he has shown plenty of support.
Tigers manager AJ Hinch reportedly told players to welcome him regardless of their emotions at the situation Cody Stavenhagen from The Athletic.
Hinch said: “I think you can have two emotions at the same time. They can be very emotional and supportive of what he had to go through and also very frustrated that we didn’t have our best pitchers. That’s okay. I told our boys that. We welcome him back.”
Rodriguez’s absence has been difficult for everyone, including himself.
Tigers pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez found his own absence difficult
Rodriguez began his majors career in 2015. Retiring was a difficult transition for him, but he knew it was what he needed to do right now.
He told Stavenhagen: “It’s difficult to break away from what I’ve been through my whole career, my teammates and everything. But for me, family always comes first. My second family is my teammates and the organization… I’m back here with my second family.”
Detroit has struggled this season, and Rodriguez is likely to help with the rotation. While the Tigers are far from post-season success, all of the upgrades make sense.
