Eddie Rosario had the best answer for trolling a Mets fan

Atlanta Braves outfielder Eddie Rosario had the perfect response to a New York Mets fan who trolled him off his seats.
There is perhaps no greater series in Major League Baseball right now than the five games in four days between the Atlanta Braves and New York Mets. On Friday night, the pair played second in the series and Braves outfield Eddie Rosario heard it from the fans.
According to Rosario’s teammate Michael Harris, Rosario knew exactly how to respond to the troll in the bleacher seats.
Braves outfielder Eddie Rosario subtly defeated a Mets fan heckling
If Rosario had room in his pocket, he probably would have pulled out his NLCS MVP award as well. He was a big part of the Braves’ second-half success last year and the man who won the award for the best player in the NLCS, which eventually led to Atlanta landing in the World Series.
This year wasn’t quite as good. With only 135 plate appearances, he only beats .184/.230/.304. Rosario has missed a lot of time this year through injury but hasn’t forgotten how last year ended.
From his reaction to the bleachers heckler, he may also be aware of how long it’s been since Mets fans celebrated a championship.
Rosario, born in 1991, wasn’t even alive the last time the Mets won a championship in 1986. The Braves have won twice since the Amazis last had a save. They have also appeared in far more World Series. The last time they met in the postseason was in 1999, when a walk from Kenny Rogers to Andruw Jones helped Atlanta advance and eliminate New York for good.
Rosario seems fully invested in the Braves-Mets rivalry. He’s been busy this season with the two clubs’ standings in the standings and is certainly looking forward to returning from IL just in time for this series.
Harris, the newcomer who saw Rosario’s response, gets his first real taste of a huge streak between these two longtime rivals. How this streak ends could go a long way in determining whether he puts a ring on his finger or whether Mets fans will have more reason to cheer the next time the Braves visit.
