EA’s Dead Space remake will be officially unveiled on gameplay for the first time tomorrow

With just a few months until the release of EA Motive’s mesmerizing Dead Space remake, the developer has confirmed that tomorrow, October 4th, it will give its first proper reveal of the polished sci-fi horror.

Announced last July, Dead Space remake is a major overhaul of Visceral Games’ beloved 2008 original, in which players once again assume the role of engineer Isaac Clarke as they journey through the Necromorph-infested mining ship USG Ishimura. This time around, however, EA Motive tries to boost the fear factor on modern systems with improved audio and visual quality, among other tweaks including improved story, characters, and game mechanics.

Since it was confirmed last year that a Dead Space remake was in the works, EA Motive has been unusually open about its development process, detailing the project’s progress in a series of live streams focusing on gameplay changes, audio and art focus.

One thing we’ve yet to see, though, is footage of how these individual elements will come together from a gameplay perspective – but that’s set to change tomorrow, October 4th, when EA Dead Space fans will get their first proper look at the remake in action there. As in a post on twitterthe official gameplay trailer will go live at 4pm UK/8am PT on YouTube.

EA’s Dead Space Remake will be released on January 27, 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
