Driver crashes while picking up car on Benicia Bridge, gets out of car and jumps to his death – CBS San Francisco
BENICIA (CBS SF) – The California Highway Patrol said Sunday afternoon that a person crashed their vehicle then jumped off the Benicia Martinez Bridge.
The department received a report at 12:13 p.m. that someone crashed a pickup truck into a shoulder barrier of Interstate 680 northbound on the Benicia-Martinez Bridge and then jumped into the water.

The US Coast Guard and a CHP helicopter were called and the person was found dead about 15 minutes later.
The Solano County Coroner responded to Benicia Marina for custody of the body.
