Miami Heat star Kyle Lowry played one-on-one basketball against rap star Drake at the FTX Arena.

Long before joining the Miami Heat last season, Kyle Lowry was a mainstay for Toronto Raptors. He brought the city its first NBA championship and made a lot of friends along the way. One of them is the award-winning rapper and global ambassador of the Raptors, Drake.

Although Lowry is part of heat, the video shows him playing a one-on-one game with Drake in an empty FTX Arena in Miami. Video provided by Twitter account 2Cool2Blog.

Lowry joined Toronto in 2012 after starting his career with the Memphis Grizzlies and Houston Rockets. He became one of the faces of the Raptors franchise during his nine years with the team. He was named to the All-Star team six times and helped win the Larry O’Brien title in 2019, the year the Raptors went all out when they acquired Kawhi Leonard from the San Antonio Spurs.

During his nine years in Toronto, Lowry averaged 17.5 points, 7.1 assists and 4.9 rebounds while scoring an on-field goal ratio of 42.5 and a three-point ratio of 37.7.

This past season, Lowry signed a three-year, $90 million deal with the Heat in a deal with the Raptors.
