Dorka Juhasz of UConn women’s basketball team suffers nasty wrist injury during Elite Eight

The UConn women’s basketball team is trying to make it to the Quarterfinals against NC State, but the elderly Dorka Juhasz is unfortunately seriously injured.

Injuries have been a pain for UConn women’s basketball throughout the 2021-22 season, most notably having endured most of the season without superstar keeper Paige Bueckers. However, with Buecker back on the roster, the Huskies went through March Madness, which led to Monday night’s matchup against 1st seed Bang NC in the Elite Eight.

However, with UConn catching up early, the trauma bug sprouted its ugly head again and the result was a terrifying moment for Dorka Juhasz senior.

While driving down the lane due to the collision and overtaking to take a hit, Juhasz was brought to the ground by the can and hit her wrist hard. It was clear that she was in great pain lying on the floor, but it was not until after many replays that it became clear that the wrist was broken on impact with the ground.
