As the group recounts their various misadventures in defeating “the most insidious villains” in the known universe, they decide to reclaim their longevity and go on “one final mission.” The trailer features a lot of meta commentary as we see the team encounter old friends and enemies along the way, saying, “All good things are doomed.” According to the trailer, fans are in for plenty of action and an epic final adventure.

According to the official logline, the Doom Patrol will encounter “old friends and enemies as they fight to defeat Immortus and reclaim their longevity.” Everyone is finally confronted with their deepest fears and must decide whether to stay stuck in the past or take their future into their own hands.
