Donald Parham leaves field after scary knockout in endzone

The Los Angeles Chargers’ tight finish, Donald Parham was hit with a dreaded injury Thursday night during a game against the Kansas City Captains.

Week 15 Edition of Thursday Night Soccer between the Kansas City Captains and Los Angeles charger got off to a scary start after a player got a scary injury.

With the Chargers in the red area, midfielder Justin Herbert unleashed a pass to Donald Parham to finish the tight. While trying to catch the ball, Parham headed off the field, and he lay motionless at the end of the field.

Health officials removed Parham’s mask and stacked him on a backboard, where he was eventually taken off the field.

Following the injury, the Chargers announced that Parham was en route to the hospital for further evaluation.

After spending time with the Detroit Lions (2019), the Washington Soccer Team (2019) and the XFL’s Dallas Renegades (2020), Parham signed with the Chargers in 2020. Parham played in 13 games in his first season. him with Los Angeles, scoring 10 receptions 159 yards and three touchdowns.

Going into Thursday night, Parham caught 20 of 26 goals for 190 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games (nine starts).
