Doja Cat warns fans not to do this to her songs

Doja cat is happy to give her fans a shock as she appears to be setting up lifelike wax statues of herself around the city, possibly in preparation for her upcoming tour that begins on Halloween. While doing so, she also issued a warning to her fans, although she didn’t give any explanation at the time.

Doja Cat has a new warning for her fans: She never wants them to search for the lyrics to her songs on the website Genius.com. Now they may or may not have falsified the lyrics, but Doja seems to be jumping crazy.

She uploaded a close-up of her (or her statue) and wrote a warning to her fans: “Never go to Genius for my lyrics. always.”

This tells us that for at least one of her recent songs, the lyrics on the website may be slightly different than the original.

One of her recent posts also quoted Kanye West from his song “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” as she captioned a series of pictures from the 2023 MTV VMAs wearing this power suit with red socks and shoes, I feel the pressure under.” titled more control, and what do I do? ……….”

As the fans said: “Best performance! You ate! I can’t wait to see you in concert in November!!”

However, it later appeared that Genius.com had corrected these lyrics, and Doja agreed with the site on her Instagram Stories – saying that they had fixed the lyrics and everything was fine now.

Fans are not thrilled with their lifelike statues

Doja has also commissioned several wax statues of her, likely for her upcoming concert, showing her posing and wearing the red paint from her song “Attention” from her album “Scarlet.”

She has also posted pictures of these statues before, but it seems Fans thought it was heras one commented: “Lmfao thought she was like her the whole time,” while another said: “That looks outrageously real.”

Doja posted more pictures of the statues, this time in different poses than before, with a construction emoji in the caption to let her fans know that she was cooking something for them. Fans still felt it wasn’t a stature but just Doja, writing, “I honestly thought it was actually her and wasn’t surprised if it was.”

Another fan of Doja acknowledged the work that must have gone into creating these masterpieces, writing, “I can’t believe how talented whoever created these is. These are beautiful and so accurate. They look much better than any wax sculpture or anything else I’ve ever seen.”

Another agreed: “LOL this is way better than anything Madame Tussauds has ever put out. Half the time, their wax figures don’t even accurately represent the figure. Plus, NY isn’t the only place with Madame Tussauds. The original is here in Hollywood.”

Here are more pictures. Be sure to swipe on the last one to see the unpainted version of it.

Doja Cat sashayed to the 2023 MTV VMAs in a simple dress that showed off almost everything and looked like she was covered in cobwebs. While Doja wore a nude thong underneath, she appeared to be naked on top, prompting model Winnie Harlow to send her a compliment: “Come on white widow…”

She also performed at the awards show, singing her latest three songs, “Attention,” “Paint The Town Red” and “Demons,” with the performance lasting more than five minutes.

Fans loved Doja’s performance, calling it the best of the night, even though there appeared to be disagreements between her and Nicki Minaj on Twitter. Many compared it to previous legendary performances and said: “Hands down one of the best of the night. Iconic VMA performance that will be unforgettable and inducted into the VMA Performance Hall of Fame. I haven’t seen a powerful, iconic VMAs performance in a long time. Like Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi, Britney’s Slave 4u, Eminem’s Slim Shadow, etc.”

Doja also recently revealed that the second half of her album will be very different than the first three songs, and fans can’t help but wonder: is this about to get any darker?
