Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Pride of the Valley update welcomes beloved characters Simba and Nala, the Lion King, along with a variety of new furniture, clothing and delicious new meals. One of those yummy new treats is Dream Ice Cream, a soft serve ice cream cone with a fruity swirl that would make the perfect snack on a warm day at your favorite Disney park. It’s easy to see why Dreamlight Valley residents would love this delicious dessert, and it’s one of Mirabel’s favorite dishes. How to cook dream ice cream in Disney Dreamlight Valley

As expected, dream ice cream shares two of its ingredients with other ice cream recipes in the game. However, this delicious treat also requires a fruit that’s new with the Pride of the Valley update: dream light fruit. To make Dream Ice Cream in Disney Dreamlight Valley you will need the following ingredients:

  • 1x milk
  • 1x slush ice cream
  • 1x dream light fruit

Once you’ve cooked Dream Ice Cream for the first time, the recipe will be added to the “Meals” section of your Collections tab and will appear in the “Desserts” section of your recipe list when you’re at a cooking station.

How and where do you get the ingredients for Dream Ice Cream?

Gathering the materials to craft Dream Ice Cream will take a bit of effort, as all three ingredients are behind character quest progression. There are two different quest lines that you must have completed in order to purchase Slush Ice and Milk, and another quest line before the Dreamlight fruit tree is planted in your valley. Here’s how to unlock all the necessary ingredients to make Dream Ice Cream in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to unlock the milk ingredient in Disney Dreamlight Valley

milk becomes available once you place the Chez Remy restaurant in your valley. You have to spend 1,000 Dreamlight to unlock the Ratatouille kingdom and complete a few quests before Remy joins you in the village and asks you to build his restaurant. Once you have completed these tasks, you can do so Buy milk for 230 Star Coins by interacting with the shelf on the back wall of the kitchen.

How to unlock the Slush Ice ingredient in Disney Dreamlight Valley

slush ice cream is unlocked by reaching friendship level 10 with Remy and completing the quest line “The Unknown Taste”. Progressing through this quest line requires a variety of post-construction tasks of Remy’s famous restaurant, Chez Remy. At the very end of his quest line, you will and will be able to unlock new ingredients on the special shelf in his restaurant Buy an unlimited amount of Slush Ice for 150 Star Coins every. You can increase your friendship level with Remy by gifting his favorite items and completing quests in the valley with him as your companion.

How to unlock the Dreamlight Fruit ingredient in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The last ingredient needed to conjure up a delicious Dream Ice Cream Cone is dream light fruit. Added in the Pride of the Valley update, this wild fruit requires the completion of a specific questline for the Lion King himself, Simba, available once you reach Friendship Level 7. You must, of course, first welcome Simba to Valley by completing the questline that begins with Stars to Guide Us in The Lion King realm. The lion kingdom costs 10,000 Dreamlight unlock.

Once you’ve unlocked Simba, you need to increase your friendship level with him to level 7, then a new quest line called “Seed of Memories” will be unlocked.
