Did star guard Ben Simmons ever play for the Nets?

Brooklyn Nets fans are growing increasingly frustrated that Ben Simmons has yet to make his team debut.

While Philadelphia 76ers fans can celebrate James Harden’s February 26 debut with a 27-point performance, those at Brooklyn still waiting Ben Simmons. When does stud Nets touch hardwood?

Well, that’s completely undefined. According to Shama Charania, Simmons is being treated for a back injury. It is being treated as a daily matter, but there is still no timetable for when he might fit into his new team.

It seems like it’s one thing after another that happens to Simmons at this point, and this back injury is definitely unlucky for him. Having said that, Brooklyn supporters are getting ready to watch him hit the tree hard. Ever since the announcement Simmons was sent to the Nets as part of the Harden deal, people all over town had been talking about him.

Now, it looks like everyone will have to wait a little longer to see Simmons debut in the 2021-22 season. Simmons will be ready to put all the film from Philadelphia behind him and try to help Brooklyn continue a deep post-season run this spring.

The Nets currently sit in eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings, but this team will always be a threat as Kevin Durant has to drill drills from all over. Once Simmons laces his sneakers, this team becomes even more dangerous. Unfortunately for the Nets fans out there, no one really knows when Simmons will be ready to leave, but hopefully it will happen sooner.
