Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov are one of the UFC’s most talked-about rivalries that never had a chance to come to terms. When both fighters were in their prime, UFC scheduled their fight five times and each time there was a new problem. It got to a point where not being able to see such a fierce duel was frustrating for fight fans.

However, after Nurmagomedov’s retirement, there have been some new sparks in the rivalry between him and Ferguson. Months ago, the American mentioned that he’s ready to compete with The Eagle even as a trainer in The Ultimate Fighter. Both fans and UFC President Dana White liked the idea.

‘It’s all mental warfare’ – Tony Ferguson says he ‘beat Kabib without beating him’

Tony Ferguson recently took to Twitter to share an animated video of him and him Nurmagomedov along with a strong message.

The animated clip is by artist Mojahed Fudaillat who has his own YouTube channel and is quite famous among fight fans.

In the caption, Ferguson mocked Nurmagomedov for stuffing himself with tiramisu on Tuesday. Ferguson also tagged Ali Abdelaziz, naming him Baldy. He asked Abdelaziz whether he was still responsible for making important calls for Nurmagomedov, or whether the Dagestani was coming to his senses.

“El Cucuy” is also mentioned at the end UFC209 I remember when the pair was supposed to fight but it got cancelled. Back then, Nurmagomedov was hospitalized after suffering a serious problem during his weight reduction to 155. It was one of the five times a fight between these two fighters was called off.
