Diablo Immortal is launching a Lunar New Year event and adding a bunch of new legendary items

The latest patch for Diablo immortal is something of a story of two focal points. On the one hand, the update marks the Lunar New Year with a new event, on the other hand, a bunch of legendary items have been added. In other words, there’s something for anyone who might still be playing the mobile title.

The Lunar New Year event in question is called Tong-Shi’s Renewal, which grants Red Bags and Tseym for completing up to three tasks per day, along with additional goodies like a portrait frame and an emoji for logging in on specific dates. Speaking of dates, the event itself takes place on January 16th.

Meanwhile, the game has added 36 new legendary items for a variety of the game’s classes. However, it should be noted that these items can only be found on Hell difficulty VI or higher, allowing players to “give players unique rewards that they aim for as they move up Hell difficulty,” according to the developers.

Other parts of the patch include the ability to extract legendary essences from legendary items at the blacksmith, guaranteed set item drops from dungeons, improvements to the immortality system, and a new battle pass for refilling. The patch notes grant all outstanding details.
