Devin Booker dabbed a baby after drilling a buzzer beater

After hitting a summer-beating shot in the first quarter, Devin Booker taped a baby in Game 2 against the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Phoenix Suns took on Tuesday night, April 19, and attempted to extend their lead in the series to 2-0 with a Game 2 win over the New Orleans Pelicans. At the end of the first quarter, star Devin Booker went viral on social media.

With a tie 28 points apiece, Booker hit a huge shot that hit the buzzer to lead Phoenix 30-28 into the second quarter. As Booker sat on the floor, he turned left and patted a baby sitting next to the court.

The Pelicans tried their best to keep up with the Suns, but Booker continued to mute Phoenix’ lead. At the end of the first half, Booker hd had 31 points while shooting 7-for-10 from behind the three-point line.

The Suns ended the regular season with a league-best record of 64-18. They want to return to the NBA Finals to win their first Larry O’Brien trophy in franchise history. The Suns narrowly missed that goal last season when they took a 2-0 lead over the Milwaukee Bucks but lost the next four games of the Finals.

Booker had a great first half himself. He dropped 31 points, hitting a buzzer beater and serving a baby in the first quarter.
