The Reds have attacked with fire, scoring 25 goals in their last five games after welcoming Jesper Bratt back into the squad. They’ll be attempting a second straight win against the struggling Blackhawks tonight at 8:30 p.m. EST.
Chicago have lost three games in a row and will start reserve goalkeeper Kevin Lankinen tonight. Will they be able to tune the ship or will New Jersey continue its terrifying speed?
This is odds via WynnBET:
Honestly, I’m surprised the demons were defeated here. They have won three of their last five games and now face the Blackhawks who have lost seven in a row at home. All but one of those losses were due to multiple goals.
Chicago have the third worst attack in the NHL in terms of goals conceded per game and tonight’s goalkeeper, Kevin Lankinen, is just 2-5-4 this season and has conceded 3.41 goals per game at the start. The Blackhawks have scored more than 3 goals just four times in their last 16 games and this sets up as a brutal point against an experienced New Jersey team.
Meanwhile, the Reds have scored at least four goals in four of their last eight games and I would love to get them plus money tonight. They are not a great team by any imagination, but they should be able to pick up their momentum to handle a terrible Chicago team that is missing their only bright spot in Marc-Andre Fleury.
Get me New Jersey in one of my favorite bets of the day but don’t wait to get your bets – I wouldn’t be surprised if the Devils end up as the favorites.
