Destiny 2’s Raid Rotator gives players reasons to play legacy content

destiny 2The latest weekly update from had good news for fans of the game’s old content. In a new post, This Week at Bungie, the developer revealed a few more details about the game’s upcoming rotator system, which will reward players for returning to certain legacy raids and dungeons each week.
The new rotator system will feature seasonal and weekly challenges for players to complete. In the seasonal version, the new season’s raid and dungeon grant Pinnacle rewards for all of their encounters. The system will also feature a raid rotator and a dungeon rotator that will grant players pinnacle gear upon completion.
Weekly rotations, on the other hand, include every raid and dungeon not included in the seasonal rotation. That means you can take on almost any challenge you want for these rewards. The weekly rotation only rewards players with a pinnacle drop after completing the final encounter of a dungeon or raid.
The new system also offers another bonus: farming. Once this new system is live, raids and dungeons will no longer have legendary gear bans. This means players can replay these encounters as many times as they like and be entitled to legendary rewards each time.
The rotation system is to come destiny 2 as part of Season 17, which is scheduled to begin around May 25th.
