The Queenbreaker is a new Exotic from Destiny 2: Abandonedand is a remake of Queenbreaker’s Bow Exotic from determination. It’s a linear arc fusion rifle with a choice of two types of zooms. That Marksman sights Increase loading time, zoom and damage; that combat sights Reduce loading time and increase handling. The Exotic Advantage is wire guncausing the weapon’s bolts to blind targets.
The Queenbreaker is very powerful in any PvP environment. Even with the Combat Sights, it can quickly kill a Warden with a single long-range shot. In PvE, this weapon is decent, but way down the heavy exotic weapon food chain. You should get The Queenbreaker if you haven’t already.
That Ophidia Spathe The Exotic Perk of the Chestpiece is scissor fingers, allowing Hunters to throw two knives per charge. This Exotic is pretty neat and it’s always been fun to use knives in Destiny. This piece is also quite unique as it allows players to hold two charges of their melee ability while also granting them two charges when recharging.
Combined with the subclass’s unique abilities, you can essentially throw knives all the time. It’s a really fun playstyle and definitely worth trying if you have a hunter.
Xur’s role this week has a total of 64 stats.
ADC/0 feedback fence
The titanium exotics are the ACD/0 feedback fence. These gauntlets have the exotic benefit Fury conductors, causing melee kills to build energy. When you’re hit by a melee attack, release that energy in an explosion. Feedback Fence has received a buff this year, making these gauntlets quite useful in the Crucible. While there are many other good Crucible options for Titans, don’t let these completely miss your eyes.
Xur’s role this week has a total of 59 stats.
Skull of the Dreadful Ahamkara
That Skull of Dire Ahamkara is the Warlock Helm on sale this week. It’s a pretty good exotic – although it was nerfed in Year 3 – and can be devastating if used correctly. Its exotic advantage, Actual sizecauses you to take very little damage when you cast Nova Bomb – and your Nova Bomb kills instantly grant Super Energy.
If you can place your Nova Bomb accurately in a large group of enemies – in PvE or even PvP – you’ll return quite a bit of Super Energy. If you enjoy playing Voidwalker at all (especially with the new Void 3.0 changes) this is a great helmet.
Xur’s role this week has a total of 61 stats.
Exotic Cipher Quest
off in Beyond the Light, Xur has a new search for an exotic cipher. With the exotic cipher you can buy old exotics at the Monuments to Lost Light kiosk in the tower. You’ll need these items and some other currency to get Exotics like Heir Apparent and Truth.
This week, Xur wants you to complete 21 strikes or win Crucible or Gambit matches. Completing the quest will give you an Exotic Cipher that you can use however you like.
