Today, after months of waiting, Fate 2 Players have finally seen the big reveal of Season of the Lost, set for next week big Witch Queen expansion. At least, it’s the players who can make the new cutscene work. For others, the only way to participate in the big moment is to watch it on YouTube.

Season of the Lost, which kicks off back in August 2021, saw its final mission, Exorcism, release earlier today. In it, the player ventures across a bridge in the sky they saw the patch once a week to protect the inner sanctuary of queen Awoken Mara Sov while she performs a ritual to purify the Witch Queen’s living worm-god, Savathûn.

It’s a fun little quest with Big stakes and an even bigger challenge against the Hive forces attacking Sov’s palace. There is only one problem: It is currently being destroyed. Some players can’t let the game count them to have completed the mission. Others couldn’t make it progress to begin with. And then there’s another group that can’t play the final part of the mission’s crucial cutscene.

That’s what happened to me after I finished Exorcism. The screen went black and then… I was back in space on the selection screen. I did the quest again and… the same thing happened. My quest progress is checked in but I can’t watch the finale, which means answering one of Season of the Lost’s biggest questions. Now I know the answer not because I had to watch the movie but because an NPC on the last leg of the quest told me what happened.

It’s not entirely clear whether the cutscene isn’t playing for people because of bugs plaguing the rest of Exorcism or because players are exiting it too early after killing the boss. Because it’s a six-player matchmade mission, you’re at the mercy of the strangers you’re with, and it seems like whenever some players leave early it cancels the entire cutscene for everyone. Bungie confirmed on Twitter that it is currently investigating the issue.

It’s a somewhat deflated summary for what was, on the whole, one of the Fate 2stronger season. Despite being the longest, it still has a bunch of fun character arcs, loot, and a cool refresh with the mid-season addition of the 30th Anniversary update. The only real drawback is that it has lasted more than half a year, twice the normal runtime. Re-upload the last part last week Witch Queen live streaming It was obviously intended to help build hype for the new expansion, but now it also means that players will only have a week to really get a closer look at most things from last year. belong to Life disappear.

The studio is spacious enough to reduce the recommended power level between 1270 and 1170, so at least now everyone else can enjoy the Season of the Lost epilogue, at least once it kicks in. Destiny 2 Miss Major Reveal Players Set Up The Witch Queen
