Destiny 2 Lingering Dread God Roll Guide – PvE and PvP

Whenever a new grenade launcher is loaded with breakthrough in Destiny 2, there is a chance that it will become a premium weapon choice. Enter the Lingering Dread, a new stasis-powered grenade launcher introduced in the Dungeon of Duality that literally stopped Wardens. As well as being the first of its kind, Lingering Dread features the new Origin Trait Bitterspite, which grants you faster reload speeds after taking any amount of damage.

In PvE, Lingering Dread has the potential to become a top choice for both easy content and high-end content due to its ability to both slow and blind opponents with the right trait combinations. In PvP, Lingering Dread isn’t a very good choice as breach grenade launchers have a lot of meta. Aside from that, you can pull off some fun plays if you manage to hit enemies head-on with Lingering Dread.

How to Get Persistent Anxiety

Lingering Terror is only available in the Forsaken Leviathan duality dungeon. While participating in the Duality Dungeon, you can obtain Drops of Persistent Dread from the Nightmare of Gahlran and Nightmare of Caiatl encounters. Luckily, Bungie has made all of the raids and dungeons in Destiny 2 farmable, which means you can repeat the above encounters as many times as you like and you’ll still get random drops from the Lingering Dread grenade launcher.
