Destiny 2 is ready to open the raid of Lightfall and start the world’s first race today

For those who confused the content of the story Destiny 2: Lightfall To prepare for the shooter’s new raid, you’re about to be rewarded. The Root of Nightmares raid begins today, March 10 at 12:00 p.m. EST, and with that comes another world-first race to see who can plow through the encounter for loot and reputation.

The rules for this next World First race aren’t all that different from the previous ones, nor are the treats awarded to the launch team that crosses the finish line first. What will be slightly different this time around is the introduction of a free emblem via Twitch Drops for those following the matter. Drops are also enabled for easy viewing destiny 2 broadcast for the required duration. Otherwise, the raid’s competitive mode is open for 48 hours.

While most of this week’s newsletter is understandably about raids, there’s a bit of other news for other players, including another promise of more story elaboration (and what the heck the shroud is) through an upcoming Season of the Deep questline, which will also grant a new strand aspect for each of the three rifleman classes and a new legendary weapon. The post also talks about rescheduled dates for Trials of Osiris and Iron Banner, describes restricted mods in World’s First Race, and points out ritual reset timing shifts that have occurred for US players to accommodate Daylight Saving Time.
