As soon as Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr discovered the Tyreek Hill sale, his mind was blown.
Out of nowhere, it seemed, the Tireek Hill era with the Kansas City Chiefs was over. On Wednesday, the team traded the superstar expansion to the Miami Dolphins in one of the biggest deals of the season.
For countless AFC West players, they no doubt celebrate the news, as Hill is one of the best extenders in the game. Because Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr, he took to Twitter straight to share his feelings on the news and his reaction was hilarious.
Derek Carr Glad Tireek Hill Is Out Of The Division
A week has passed for Carr and the Raiders. First, the group can make a favorable transaction of their own, brought to Davante Adams from Green Bay Packers. And now, Vegas feels even better with Hill on his way to Miami.
Without Hill playing against Kansas City this fall, things will be very different for Patrick Mahomes. It is expected that the Leaders will be busy during the draft process and the free agency still manages to bring in a quality accelerator team, but replacing Hill is easier said than done.
Carr knows this, which is why he can’t help but smile. Morale for the Las Vegas fan base is pretty high right now but the same cannot be said for Kansas City. Losing Hill like this is a disappointment and it will only make things harder for the Chiefs post-season. That’s good news if you ask Carr and the rest of his teammates.
