Derek Carr gets honest about Cowboys after Thanksgiving win

Derek Carr and Las Vegas Raiders won an impressive victory before Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day during overtime. The Raiders won 36-33 thanks to a powerful strike and a superb performance from striker Daniel Carlson.

After the Raiders became first team in years for winning three overtime competitions in a single season, Carr commended Dallas, calling them one of the best teams he’s played on at NFL level.

Being one of the best teams Carr has faced in nearly a decade as a professional quarterback seems like an overstatement of the Cowboys’ talent. They’re good, just not terribly good. However, Dallas has a very solid offensive and defensive posture led by players playing on the flanks.

Carr threw 373 yards and beat 39 pass attempts in victory, setting a franchise file in process. Carlson scored the perfect 5/5 goals to help the Raiders improve to 6-5 during the season. The Hunter Renfrow wide receiver scored 134 yards of picks and eight catches, both career highs. Josh Jacobs ran back 87 yards and a touch of the ball.

Dallas played this game without the CeeDee Lamb receiver, but it didn’t slow them down much. Dak Prescott throws 375 yards and a few touches. Wide receivers Michael Gallup and Cedrick Wilson each scored 100 yards. Despite losing, they still have a score of 7-4 with a strong chance of winning NFC East.

For now, the 6-5 Raiders have done their job as they hunt for the team’s crown as they’ll have to work their way out of the AFC West basement.
