Delta Goodrem Announces Major Netflix News: ‘We’re Going on a Date’
Delta Goodrem has announced a new international project and is delighting her fans by revealing that she will take to the skies.
The Australian singer returned to acting, starring in the new Netflix film Love Is In The Air.

Taking to Instagram, the 38-year-old shared that a release date had been announced and posted a series of new photos from the film.
“We have a date!!! Love Is In The Air, our new movie, is out September 28th @netflix ✈️Can’t wait for you to see this👩🏼✈️,” she wrote Tuesday night.
Goodrem plays a seaplane pilot who falls in love with a man who is slowly ruining her business.
The international film was shot in Airlie Beach on the Whitsundays in Queensland.
Fans of the singer shared their joy at the new project in the comments section.
“She did it again,” said one.
“I’m ready to fly Delta Airways ✈️👩✈️,” joked another.
“Movie of the year is upon us,” added one user.
“That’s all!! Can’t wait to see it. We’ve missed you on the big screen,” said one commenter.
Goodrem began her acting career in 1993 and has starred in various TV shows and films including Hating Alison Ashley, A Country Practice and Neighbors.
Her last acting role came in 2018 when she played Olivia Newton-John in the miniseries Olivia: Hopelessly Devoted to You.
The new film is part of streaming giant Netflix’s investment in Australian-made content and is one of four new Australian titles expected to hit the platform soon.
Goodrem had a busy year: she started her own record label, ATLED Records, and released a new album, entitled Back To Your Heart, along with the new film.
In a long Instagram In this post on July 19, Goodrem heralded the beginning of a “new era.”
