Defense shouldered the load in Atlanta

The Patriots don’t have to be perfect on Thursday night. Just exit Atlanta with a win however you have to do it. Welp, defense, Patriots are pretty much perfect anyway.
New England eliminated Matt Ryan and the Falcons surprise attack on “Thursday Night Football,” on the road, in a short week. In particular, the seventh front ravaged the chessboard all night. But the underdogs also play when given the chance. They brought this on a slower night to commit the offence than what we saw in the previous game.
You can live with the insult if you’re a Patriots fan. You are sure to have ups and downs with a rookie midfielder. Is it important for the defense to be able to carry the load, as they have all season? They certainly did in Atlanta.
So with that, let’s get to the Ups and Downs from the Patriots’ fifth straight win…
Net Ups & Downs will come after a small goodbye to the Patriots, who return Sunday of Thanksgiving week for an epic game against the AFC’s best Tennessee Titans.
