Death’s Gambit: Afterlife Physical Edition is out, DLC is on the way

Late last year, publisher Serenity Forge confirmed that Death’s Gambit: Afterlife will receive a physical release on the Switch; The good news is that it’s on sale now, although the package has changed with a sticker sheet replacing an art book in the final sale. It will be available from retailers now and publishers as well own storefront as another option.

However, if you are the owner of the download version or just a fan of the game, the publisher has shared some more good news. ‘Ashes of Vados’ is a DLC expansion that’s coming to Switch this spring, priced at $7.99USD, seemingly offering some endgame and more challenging content

Vados .’s ashes introduces an all-new boss encounter with a dramatically different hero boss variant that will conclude the final story sequence of Death’s Gambit: Afterlife. Outside, Vados .’s ashes Will test your mettle with the ultimate platforming challenge and a new Arena with both boss and mob modes. The DLC will also spice up the game’s new runs with alternate game modifiers that completely flip the experience on its head, with modes like random items, hero mode forced and hardcore mode. All of these new challenges come with their own set of rewards, so go out there and conquer Vados .’s ashes.
