Deadly crash Temporarily closes all southbound lanes of Interstate 101 in San Jose – CBS San Francisco

SAN JOSE (BCN) – The California Highway Patrol reported a fatal collision Friday morning on U.S. Highway 101 in San Jose.

The crash happened near the state’s 87 Freeway junction, according to the CHP.

The collision, first reported at 1:15 a.m., caused all southbound lanes of U.S. Route 101 to be briefly closed and a Signal Warning issued. .
