Dead and Company announce dates and sales times for final tour in 2023
Shortly after announcing that next summer’s tour would be their last for Dead and Company, the group have revealed the full schedule for this farewell outing, with tickets set to go on sale a week from Friday.
The tour kicks off with a two-night stand at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles May 19-20 and concludes, perhaps unsurprisingly, in San Francisco at Oracle Park, where this offshoot of the Grateful Dead is partying for a night after the final gigs will take place there from July 14th to 15th.
A total of nineteen cities are on the itinerary, with two-night stops in Chicago, New York City, Saratoga Springs, NY, and George, Wa. Other dates barring that, Boulder is the only city that will get one, along with San Francisco and LA three-Nightstand, scheduled for July 1-3.
Tickets go on sale October 14th at 10am local time via deadandcompany.com.
Formed in 2015, the group includes several original members of the Grateful Dead as well as fresh additions, with the lineup now consisting of Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, John Mayer, Bob Weir, Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti.
