Today Friday): The sky will try to remain sunny, but a few clouds in the afternoon cannot be ruled out. Maybe even a short shower or even a short thunderstorm. Our recent cold front is doing its best to drop southeast of us, where most cloud and rain activity could be concentrated. East and northeast breezes should remain at around five mph, but late-day gusts near 20 mph are possible. Dew points remain in the 60’s, keeping humidity in check as high temperatures aim for the mid to high 80’s. Confidence: Medium-High
This evening: Partly to mostly clear with light easterly breezes easing over time. Low temps extend downtown into the mid 60’s down to around 70’s. Confidence: Medium-High

Tomorrow (Saturday): The sky is partly sunny with intermittent clouds. The morning hours look dry. Humidity builds up in most places, with dew points approaching 70 at times. There is a small chance of storms, but each can result in heavy rain, and light gusts from southeast breezes are possible in rainier places. High temperatures should be able to get into the mid to upper 80’s. Confidence: Medium
Tomorrow night: Evening storms remain possible. Nightly rain showers cannot be ruled out either. Low temperatures are muggy, in the upper 60s to low 70s. Confidence: Medium-High
Sunday: The atmosphere will be slightly wetter and more unstable, with dew points at or above the 70 degree mark. The sky is partly sunny. Thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon – some of them could be strong to violent and bring damaging wind gusts and flooding. High temperatures should be in a range of 87 degrees to 92 degrees. Confidence: Medium
Sunday night: Strong storms can continue into the evening then we can get partly to mostly cloudy when things calm down a bit. Very humid low temperatures in the 70’s to mid 70’s are expected. Confidence: Medium
Strong afternoon and evening thunderstorms are possible again Monday. Mid 80s to nearly 90 degrees should still have a juicy, humid vibe to accompany that warmth. Dew points will likely be in the soupy 70’s. Damaging gusts of wind and torrential downpours are the two main threats from these storms. Confidence: Medium
We have a chance to move on Tuesday, but it can still be hot and humid. Under partly to mostly sunny skies, temperatures will range in the upper 80’s to – perhaps – as hot as the mid 90’s. With dew points still in the low to mid 70’s we could see a heat index near 100 degrees. Stay tuned for small forecast adjustments as we get closer. Confidence: Low-Medium
