‘Days of Our Lives’ star Arleen Sorkin has died aged 67

Actress Arleen Sorkin, best known for her starring role in the TV soap “Days of Our Lives” and as the original voice of Batman character Harley Quinn, has died at the age of 67.
News of the shocking death was confirmed on Instagram by DC Studios director and CEO James Gunn on Sunday.
“Rest In Peace Arleen Sorkin, the incredibly talented original voice of Harley Quinn who helped create the character that so many of us love. Love to her family and friends,” he wrote in his post.

The post was met with a range of emotional appreciation.
“Heartbreaking. “Arleen’s spirit was light and charming, her mind quick and perceptive,” said Sharon Lawrence.
“It is devastating to learn that we have lost the brilliant Arleen Sorkin. Not just a wonderful talent, but a truly wonderful person,” said Mark Hamill, who portrayed the Joker alongside Sorkin in Batman: The Animated Series, on Twitter.
Her cause of death is not yet known.
Sorkin starred as Calliope Jones on Days of Our Lives from 1984 to 2010.
The Washington-born actress was married to TV producer Christopher Lloyd and has two children.
