Authorities in Florida have released the name of one of two people found dead Wednesday morning in Panama City Beach, what detectives are now calling a murder-suicide. Based on physical evidence and social media posts, investigators believe that David Haram Police said they killed a woman in his home before taking his own life.

According to a Press Release from the Bay County Sheriff’s Office, a tip provided to the sheriff’s office led investigators to an ominous social media post by a man, later identified as Haram. BCSO said the post “leads investigators to believe that the man who posted it killed someone and then attempted suicide near the Hathaway Bridge,” which connects Panama City to Panama City Beach.

“Deputies found the man’s vehicle and his body inside the vehicle at a boat ramp south of the west end of Hathaway Bridge. He appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound,” the press release read. “The delegates also did a welfare check on the other person mentioned in the post at a residence on Panama City Beach. A second body was discovered at this residence.”

While the investigation is still ongoing, investigators point out that evidence suggests Haram killed the unidentified victim, posted it on social media, and then shot himself.

The Facebook post referenced by investigators, posted around 6 a.m. Wednesday, has since been deleted, but Panama City ABC affiliate WMBB provided a screenshot of part of the text in a statement. TV report.

“I have failed in my relationships, with friends and as a father. I know I’ve lost a lot of time in my life, but guess what, I’ve lost more but I’m still trying. I have been lonely all my life and just want love,” the post read. “Every time I get close, it explodes, and maybe partly me and I can say, but usually it’s all the blame on me. I don’t want to be on this earth anymore. I’m not depressed, sad or suicidal, I’m just tired of the disease raging on this planet that is human.”

Haram allegedly wrote about not seeing her children, saying “not a day goes by that I don’t think about my children and my heart breaks.” He also allegedly wrote that he was “crazy obsessed with a woman [the] polar opposite of me. He also said he was “destroying her.”

Then the post got even darker.

“The meek will inherit the ashes from my destructive fire. Pardon everyone but this is the greatest gift I can give anyone, to take my burden off me,” he allegedly wrote. “To all the people close to me in my life, you should know I love you, and I’m sorry I couldn’t be normal. I’m sorry that I couldn’t deal with the trauma in my life that made me into something sublime.”

According to WMBB, at some point in the post, Haram allegedly admitted that he had just “killed a female acquaintance in his bedroom at Annabella’s Condominiums in Panama City Beach” and “his body” can be found at the Hathaway Bridge.”

The victim’s name was not released under Marsy’s Law.
