Davante Adams bids his Packers goodbye with heartfelt Instagram post

After dealing with the Las Vegas Raiders, wide-ranging recipient Davante Adams wrote a goodbye message to the Green Bay Packers and their fans on Instagram.

Green Bay Packers fans were delighted to see full-back Aaron Rodgers officially sign a three-year contract to stay at the team. But days later, the fan base was completely shocked after hearing that the Packers widely received star traded Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders in exchange for the 2022 first- and second-round draft picks. Additionally, Adams received a five-year, $141.25 million contract from the Raiders.

Adams was a 2014 second-round draft pick by the Packers out of Fresno State, and ended up not only becoming one of the franchise’s best wide receivers in history, but also one of the catchers. best pass in the entire NFL.

In his eight seasons, Adams scored more than 1,000 ball picks in three of them. Not only that, he won the Pro Bowl for 5 consecutive seasons from 2017-21 and was named to the All Pro First Team for 2020 and 2021.

Overall, Adams caught 669 of 1,012 goals in 8,121 yards and 73 touchdowns.

This season, the Packers put a franchise tag on Adams in hopes of negotiating a new deal. Adam’s agent confirmed to NFL network insider Ian Rapoport that Green Bay offered more money to stay with the team, but they said it was “a lifelong dream to be with the Raiders.” Not only that, but he was reunited with his former Fresno State teammate and quarterback Derek Carr.

Adams will likely play for the Raiders in 2022 and beyond, but he wanted to let fans know that he appreciates their support over the years.
