Daniel Jones, Sterling Shepard limited practice

The New York Giants are once again on the training ground on Thursday and there is hope for clarity among the injured players.

Winger Daniel Jones put on his helmet and took part in a second training session in a row. Offensive assistant Freddie Kitchens has practically said that he expects Jones to be central in Week 13.

The news wasn’t nearly as good for broad-minded recipient Kadarius Toney, who was dropped to work side-by-side with coaches. His condition for Sunday’s game in Miami is in great doubt.

Things are also uncertain for Sterling Shepard. The veteran did limited field work – a step up from Wednesday – but may need to overcome more hurdles before returning.

In the end, full-back Adoree’ Jackson seemed somewhere between working on the sidelines and lingering on the pitch. Either way, his condition didn’t look promising.

Thursday’s full injury report can be found below:

Did not participate: LB Trent Harris (ankle), FB Cullen Gillaspia (calf), CB Adoree’ Jackson (quad), WR John Ross (sick), TE Kaden Smith (knee), WR Kadarius Toney (oblique/quad)

Full participants: N / A
