Cyclops Athlete Catches Fire Streamer Second After Tanukana

Osaka-based e-sports team Cyclops Athlete Gaming just fired another player. Yesterday, it cancel contract belong to Tekken Tanukana player after a history of abuse comments, the last is about men under a certain height. Today, after the revelation of some really nasty tweets, it’s allowed the organization Call of Duty manager, Kbaton.

Implementation group notice via Twitter, writing, “As of February 18, 2022, Cyclops Athlete Gaming has canceled its contract with team Kbaton.” Similar announcements was also posted on the official Cyclops Athlete Gaming site.

No reason has been given for the dismissal and the team’s management and owners have yet to make the decision public, but it is safe to assume it has something to do with some very annoying tweets streamer sent previously. Kotaku Have reached out to Cyclops Athlete Gaming for comment and clarification and will update this article if the team responds.

Website Hanayakana Life reported that Kbaton made several tweets with profanity about gays and capable people on several occasions. In Japan, the profanities he used were aimed at disabled children as well as people with intellectual disabilities. He also uses slur (gay people), but like Buzzfeed Japan previous reportFuji TV was called for permission to air a comedy show Beat Takeshi in 2017.

Screenshots of these tweets started going viral after Tanukana’s comments in which she said that men under 170 cm have no human rights. The team was asked why Tanukana was given away and Kbaton was not.

After the controversy over Tanukana’s original height comment, the word became national news in Japan, Kbaton tweeted, “I didn’t think this would turn out to be such a big deal. The internet is horrible.” He added in a separate tweet, “The team I’m on, LOL.”
