Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.5 comes with PS5, Xbox Series X / WILL

Keanu Reeves fan of CD Projekt Redfic, Cyberpunk 2077, can finally complete. A major update to the game is rolling out today, alongside its release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, CDPR said in a tape-packed, junk-packed live stream on its Twitch channel today.
Stream opens with footage back Cyberpunk 2077 runs on PlayStation 5, at a buttery-smooth 60fps. But the stream quickly pivots to showcase how the role-playing shooter runs on Xbox Series S — frame rates are high and still beautiful, albeit with less crisp resolutions — and on Xbox Series X, where it looks a lot like on PS5.
In addition, yes, the ground looks wet.
There’s a five-hour, month-long free trial of the game available on next-gen consoles starting today, with full save-to-file transfer features Full version for those players who have won their time in the Night City.
Next generation update comes Cyberpunk 2077Patch 1.5 fixes its aftermath, is 50GB in size and, among other things, features a reworked perks system: Some skills are being enhanced, while others are not. completely removed from the skill tree. (Knife Throw: That’s good now, and maybe it’s a boomerang too?) If you’re wiping out an old save file, you’ll find that all of your perks are unassigned.
It will also introduce a “rebalanced” combat system, where enemies seek cover, react more intelligently and are generally “smarter”, CDPR said, noting that it is difficult to come up with. examples in a live stream but that’s what you got ‘ I just have to try myself. Driving has also been improved. (On stream, CDPR showed protagonist V making fluffy donuts in a sports car at an intersection.)

But the world itself has also been significantly improved, with changes implemented to make it feel more real. Crowds will realistically react to your actions, and won’t despawn any longer when you spin around, and the city itself looks lively in a way that it simply didn’t in the game’s launch state. These changes all come amid a litany of quality-of-life changes, including a big overhaul to the map, which is so specific now as to show you how many gigs you’ve completed for specific “fixers” (aka, some of 2077‘s quest-givers). In-game vendors will hawk their wares at reasonable prices. You can change your character’s appearance in-game at the mirror in your apartment—a feature so nice CDPR show it off on stream twice—and you can rent sumptuous pads at various neighborhoods around Night City.
In other words, it seems like Cyberpunk 2077 might be the game everyone wanted it to be.
Of course, whether or not this overhaul works as intended remains to be seen, as the update gets in the hands of players.
The story around Cyberpunk 2077’s misfired release is temporarilymarked by many delays and serious report of crunch — the game industry’s term for extended overtime hours — among its workers. Public perception of the game is also distorted by its optimal state on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Cyberpunk 2077The official next-gen update has been around for a long time and is seen by many as a potential savings opportunity for the game (after numerous patches and updates, is now considered playable at a “satisfactory” performance level according to the CDPR).
Such next-gen versions were originally scheduled for release sometime in 2021. But last October, CDPR defer preferred console versions belong to Cyberpunk 2077 again, say they will arrive sometime in the first quarter of the year (before a similar wave of next-generation feedback by The Witcher 3: Wild Huntwas first released in 2015).
CyberpunkThe launch of the next-gen console comes amid the busiest release panel in quite a while. This month aloneOpen-world games that double as the next-gen showcase Forbidden Horizon in the West and Elden Ring give wings to an anticipated and perhaps very large amount, extended to Fate 2. Just a few weeks ago we again open world game that doubles as a next-gen showcase game: Dying Light 2. March doesn’t look any less goodthanks to a lineup that includes Dress, Gran Turismo 7, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Ghostwire: Tokyo, Triangle Strategyand that looks beautiful Final Fantasy spinoff about “CHAOS!!!!”
