- In 2018, he allegedly pinched a waiter at the TAO Downtown restaurant in the Chelsea area.
- He allegedly grabbed a woman’s chest in 2019 at the Magic Hour Rooftop Bar & Lounge, a few blocks south of Times Square.
Gooding only admitted to the LAVO incident. According to the AP, he said in court that he “kissed the waitress on the lips” without consent.

Rothman confirmed to Law&Crime in a telephone interview on Wednesday that he called the woman delusional, though he says he waited until she had finished talking before standing and objecting to her statement.
“I cannot leave nonsense like this unchecked,” said Rothman, who also claimed the woman maintained a false version of events that did not match surveillance footage of the incident.
As paraphrased by Rothman, the woman said that “essentially her life has been changed, ruined” by what happened. However, the lawyer described her as a “fan” who had followed Gooding and his girlfriend everywhere.
Rothman denied that he was victim shame, and he claimed that while there was physical contact when Gooding reached for a water bottle, the contact was non-criminal and non-sexual.
Law&Crime was unable to immediately reach the woman in the alleged Magic Hour incident for comment.
Prosecutors reportedly said they plan to call 19 other women – all alleged victims of other non-consensual touching by Gooding that did not result in criminal charges – to testify if the actor’s case ever goes to trial. The judge had ruled that two of them could testify.
good is also contesting an ongoing federal lawsuit for allegedly raping a woman identified only as “Jane Doe” in court records. The plaintiff in that case said she met the actor with a friend at a Greenwich Village restaurant in 2013. According to her, they went to a nearby hotel lounge. She said she then went to his hotel room with Gooding, ostensibly so that he could change; instead, she claims, he stripped and raped her twice, despite her repeated protests.
