Cruz sheds tears on the far left in the scary speech

Governor DeSantis was not the only one to give a rousing speech at CPAC. Texas Senator Ted Cruz also made a great point.

Starting with a joke that poked fun at Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, who was caught without a mask in a photo while students had to, Cruz said:

It was a wonderful sight. Thousands of patriots and not a goddamn mask in sight. Obviously, everyone here is just following the example of Stacey Abrams.

That’s when he went to the left and its fight for freedom. Begin that part of your speech by saying “We find ourselves at an existential juncture for our nation. The threats in our country have never been greater“Cruz listed a bunch of examples, saying:

Immunization duties versus doctors and nurses; mask vs kids duty in school; Spotify vs. Joe Rogan; GoFundMe vs Truck Canada; Justin Trudeau–

At that point, the noisy crowd erupted in boos, to which Cruz responded by playing along and saying “It was the first time in recorded history that any Canadian had ever drawn that much response from any crowd on planet earth.

Then, going back to the script and just in time, he went back to listing his examples, saying “Justin Trudeau and respected Canadian truckers. New York Times comparison with Bari Weiss. Levi’s versus Jennifer Sey. AOC vs almost damn who dares to criticize her.

In addition to just giving examples, Cruz described what is driving the left: fear of freedom. In his words:

This is not a battle between the weak and the strong,” he said. “What is happening is that the powerful have to be scared. They fear you. They look out for the men and women in this room and they fear the survivors that come out of them. They fear the truth. They fear freedom”.

He then ended with a defiant letter, saying that neither the patriots were winning nor the patriots could surrender or apologize, as doing so would mark the end of the country. surname:

Never apologize to the waking crowd. It doesn’t work. They do not engage in rational discourse. They want to destroy you… Respond with joy. Laugh with them. It makes them eat bananas.

[..]We are taking back our country. We are standing up for power. We are defending freedom. We are defending our constitution. We are defending our human rights bill and together we will save this great nation. ”

While Cruz’s speech was good, it sounded less than honest to many of the patriots in the crowd. That’s because Cruz, speaking about the January 6 hack, referred to the intruders as “terrorists,” a phrase many have questioned.

Though he later retracted, or at least attempted, during an appearance on Tucker Carlson’s show, the outspoken remark led many to believe that he was not “all” related to the government. MAGA meaning.

So his speech covers all the right points, but whether it will bring him back into the good graces of the MAGA movement is still up for debate. Cruz sheds tears on the far left in the scary speech
