Cristiano Ronaldo “wouldn’t fit into Bayern Munich’s philosophy,” says the club’s CEO amid transfer rumors » FirstSportz

Cristiano Ronaldo has never been in this position. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner wants to leave Manchester United this summer but none of his favorite targets want him. His agent Jorge Mendes has made offers to Bayern Munich and Chelsea but interest has been lukewarm at best.
The Portuguese superstar is reportedly keen to join a club capable of playing in the Champions League and Bayern Munich fits the bill. Bayern have been named as his preferred target for the past few weeks thanks to his agent’s efforts. According to Fabrizio Romano, Jorge Mendes is “pushing” for his client’s transfer to Germany. However, the interest does not seem to be mutual.
With Robert Lewandowski reportedly interested in joining FC Barcelona this summer, it has been suggested that Bayern could sign CR7 and give him a leading role in the team. These speculations are limited to the media, however, there have been no concrete indications that Bayern are considering a change of the 37-year-old. Still, it hasn’t stopped fans from fantasizing.
Now club boss Oliver Kahn has publicly stated that Ronaldo will not switch to Bayern Munich. This is what the former goalkeeper Kicker said about the situation “As much as I value Cristiano Ronaldo as one of the greats, a move would not fit into our philosophy”
While there have been reports CR7 would accept a pay cut to play in the Champions League next season, Bayern Munich don’t think he would be a good fit for the team Julian Nagelsmann is trying to build.

Director Hasan Salihamidzic had also denied the rumors about FC Bayern Munich’s interest in the Portuguese saying “Cristiano Ronaldo is a top player with an outstanding career. However, stories about a possible deal with Bayern are NOT true.” After Manchester United finished 6th in the Premier League and Europa League, most expected Cristiano Ronaldo to leave the club in search of Champions League football.
Cristiano Ronaldo was one of the few standout players for Manchester United last season. The Portuguese has scored 24 goals in 39 games in all competitions and also provided 3 assists. He also won Manchester United’s Player of the Season award.
