Crime in Queensland: Five-month-old baby in critical condition after suffering unexplained injuries
A five-month-old Queensland girl remains hospitalized as police investigate how she sustained serious injuries last week.
The girl had no apparent injuries but was experiencing breathing difficulties and a cardiac arrest when officers were called to an address in Coomera just before 2.30pm on Wednesday, February 1, police said.
The child was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital, where tests revealed he had significant internal injuries.

She remains in critical condition.
Detectives from the Gold Coast District Child Protection and Investigation Unit formed Operation Victor Sector to investigate the cause of her injuries.
The investigations are ongoing.
Queensland killer Paul John Conoley is arrested.
