Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was involved in a minor car accident and required an evaluation by doctors at a local hospital.
A quiet Wednesday night for the NFL was slightly disrupted by the news that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones ended up in the hospital.
The good news? It doesn’t seem like anything big.
Jones was involved in a minor car accident in Dallas, which resulted in a hospital visit.

“Dallas Police Department sources say Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was involved in an accident in Dallas and was taken to the hospital,” WFAA’s Rebecca Lopez tweeted. “I’ve been told his injuries are not serious. DPD determined.”
According to the report, the accident happened just before 8:10 p.m. local time in the area of Wolf and Harry Hines Boulevard in Dallas.
Clarence Hill Jr tweeted that the trip to the hospital for the 79-year-old was a precaution.
Jones has had an interesting 2022 so far. He faces a paternity suit, settles issues with the Cowboys cheerleaders, juggles NFL drama and gets into online disputes with former players. An obvious Fender bender probably won’t make the Christmas card this year.
