The Cowboys’ official Twitter account attempted to pour water over the whole thing by tweeting about being healthy enough to work out again.

Still, Pollard’s dealings with a foot injury wasn’t a particularly welcome development as the Cowboys took their ninth win. They haven’t won consecutive games since October and this trip to Washington. help them change that.

On the plus side, Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News said the team isn’t worried about the long-term availability of a resumption of activity.

Pollard’s condition will have to be monitored in the coming days, especially as Ezekiel Elliott is recovering from a knee injury. Elliott was able to train at least on Wednesday.

Pollard has 602 yards rushing this season with an average of 5.6 yards per take. He had 71 yards and touched the ball seven times against the Saints last weekend. He also added 259 yards through matches.
