Diego Sanchez hospitalized with COVID-19: ‘Covid is no motha f*ckin joke’
UFC Hall of Famer Diego Sanchez was hospitalized due to COVID-19.
Sanchez recently revealed that he has tested positive for the virus and is being treated with the monoclonal antibody Regeneron. He quickly felt better but things took a turn for the worse causing him to be hospitalized.
“Covid pneumonia never gives up,” Sanchez tweeted with a photo of himself in the hospital.

Sanchez posted a photo of a chest X-ray on his instagram account with the caption: “Low oxygen and pneumonia. This has been bound a number of times. “

Sanchez’s symptoms progressed to pneumonia and he developed blood clots in both legs. “Blood clots now! Covid is not a fucking joke,” he wrote. “Blood clots in both of my legs.”

Sanchez was launched by the UFC in April after a public spat between him, his manager at the time, Joshua Fabia, and Sanchez’s push for a cure-all. He is currently a freelance agent.
