Countdown to UFC 269
We’re just a few days away from UFC 269: Pay Per View (PPV) Event “Oliveira vs. Poirier”, is scheduled for this Saturday. night (December 11, 2021) inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The title of the card will be a light belt fight between defending champion Charles Oliveira and former interim owner Dustin Poirier. In the co-main event of UFC 269, female bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes lifted her 135-pound belt to take on TUF 18 champion Julianna Pena.

The winner of the match Oliveira vs. Poirier is expected to go on to face lightweight boxer Justin Gaethje at some point in early 2022. Things aren’t so clear in the women’s division as Nunes has pretty much eliminated the division, unless Pena breaks through the nasty weight class and resets to 135 pounds. Unlikely, but we can never rule out anything in this crazy sport, which is part of what makes MMA so appealing.
