Conor Benn Says He Will Give Adrien Broner A “BEATING” After Algier Boxing News 24

Via Charles Brun: Conor Benn is considering his next opponent Chris Algieri for this Saturday and vows to give Adrien Broner a “hit” when the two meet in early 2022.

Promoter Eddie Hearn took the cat out of the bag this week, saying former American star Broner (34-4-1, 24 KOs) will be Benn’s next opponent (19-0, 12 KOs).

It’s hard for the average fan to understand what Benn gets for beating Broner right now because he’s been beaten four times.

Broner = too advanced for Conor Benn

I don’t want to say it but I think Broner has a VERY good chance of beating Benn. Although Broner has been through a lot, he is highly skilled and capable that we haven’t seen from Benn. Conor can punch a bit like his father Nigel Benn, but he’s not as technically gifted as Broner and never will be.

By the time Broner was 24 years old, he already had his technical skills and could roll over anyone he faced.

Fans want to see Conor fight these types of fighters:

David Avanesyan
Jaron Ennis
Vergil Ortiz Jr
Errol Spence Jr
Terence Crawford
Keith Thurman
Yordenis Ugas
Josh Taylor
Regis Prograis
Teofimo Lopez
Jose Ramirez

The real question is, why are Conor Benn’s supporters at Matchroom Boxing setting such a low bar for what they feel is a worthy opponent for him?

Hearn talked about how Benn became the next big British superstar this week, if that’s the case, why is he fighting Broner?

Benn, 24, couldn’t afford to get past 37-year-old former WBO 140 lb champion Algieri (25-3, 9 KOs), but he couldn’t hold back his thoughts about his next bout.

Conor looks like a kid who can’t wait to open his Christmas presents, and he seems excited at the prospect of playing the former four-time world champion Broner, even though it’s

Broner was once a star, but now he’s seen as a top boxer in the eyes of many boxing fans in America. One-time superstar Broner has been on the decline since losing to Marcos Maidana in 2013.

Benn is saying he’s going to hit Adrien Broner

“Algieri is my main focus and main priority, but I will be up against Adrien Broner and give him a hit no problem,”Conor Benn told iFL TV. “The big battles are there. I like Broner; I’m a big fan of Broner’s fighting style.

“I’m not a big fan of his attitude and the way he behaves, but that’s how he wants to carry on, and it’s up to him. That’s not my cup of tea, but it’s not my cup of tea. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Apparently, you also have Amir Khan and Kell Brook. There are loads of big fights but listen, Algieri is my fight for the world title because if I don’t win it’s going to set you back.

“All of these fights are my world championship matches. They are approaching me. I’m touching, I’m at the top of the year,” Benn said as he placed himself in the top five at 147.” We are touching world titles. So get Algieri out of the way and we’ll continue from there.

“Honestly, I didn’t feel any pressure at all,” Benn boasted. “I’m going in there, and I know what I’m going to do.” Conor Benn Says He Will Give Adrien Broner A “BEATING” After Algier Boxing News 24
