Confident Jalen Tolbert says he wants to make the most of the ‘special’ opportunity he has with Cowboys » FirstSportz

This off-season has been one of the most dramatic in recent memory. While some teams were able to improve their roster, some didn’t really have the same experience. The Dallas Cowboys still have a very strong team, but it goes without saying that they lost some key players leading up to the season.
Amari Cooper will play for the Browns, Cedrick Wilson has been traded to the Dolphins and Michael Gallup is taking time to recover from a cruciate ligament rupture. Without a doubt, the Dallas-based franchise has a lot of catching up to do.

“I definitely have a special opportunity”: Cowboys WR Jalen Tolbert

One young WR who can play an important role in filling the void left by the departure of several Dallas players is Jalen Tolbert. Jalen played college football in South Alabama and wowed everyone with incredible performances. He was penned by the Cowboys in the third round of this year’s draft.
During his recent appearance on SiriusXM NFL Radio, Jalen had a few things to say about what he expects to achieve in the upcoming season. “I’m definitely looking forward to the opportunity that lies ahead and just being able to compete and continue to do what I love.”

“A lot of people aren’t blessed to be able to play after college, so I definitely have a special opportunity and I’m looking forward to it.” Jalen also commented on his chemistry with Dak Prescott, which develops after the two met for a training session some time ago.
“I would say we could at least build a step stool for some chemistry points‘ Tolbert said, adding that he doesn’t push himself too far and focuses on the daily process of getting better and better. “Even more so just taking it one day at a time because overall my rookie year will be my longest year. And so you take it one day at a time,” he said.
Jalen went on to claim that he is doing everything in his power to pursue the ultimate goal, a Super Bowl title. There is no doubt that next season will be tough for the Dallas team, but football is a fun game. We’ve seen mediocre teams suddenly find the right combinations and defeat the best in the business, and we’ve also seen several star-studded teams and their efforts go down the drain.
