“Come on, my boy,” Jamahal Hill replies to a possible match with Alex Pereira

Jmahal Hill recently became the undisputed UFC Light Heavyweight Champion by defeating Glover Teixeira in a 5 round match. On the other hand, Alex Pereira defeated his longtime rival Israel Adesanya for the third time at UFC 281 in 2022. Now that some time has passed, we could see Jamahal Hill vs Alex Pereira clash soon.
The title fight for Glover Texeira was significant for many reasons. Glover is 43 and was looking to win the belt for a second time to show that the age of the world is just a number. Since the fight was set to take place in Brazil, he got that extra support as well, but his opponent Jamahal Hill was unfazed. And in the struggle between the generations, the youth laughed the last laugh.
Alex Pereira was a kickboxer in the Glory Kickboxing Promotions where he became middleweight and light heavyweight champion. For his transition to MMA, he tried to improve his ground game by training with Teixeira. After the veteran was defeated, ‘Paotan’ was understandably not in a very happy state and measured Jamahal.

Later, Alex called out to the champion: “I heard that Prochazka is injured. How about you knock me out?”
Hill wasn’t afraid of the challenge either: “They tell me he (Alex Pereira) might show up [to light heavyweight]’ said Hill. “Come in, my boy. Whenever he decides. Oh yeah I can go up there and fuck him. Come on my boy, all that smoke. I was there [at UFC 281] – I observe [the fight] reside. Kudos to Izzy (Israel Adesanya) but I’m going to knock Pereira out.”
Can the match between Jamahal Hill and Alex Pereira actually take place?
If this match actually takes place, it will take some time and Jamahal has been medically suspended by the authorities. Alex, on the other hand, has already fought in the light heavyweight division and is therefore no stranger to the concept of weight gain.
